Welcome!

The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul was founded in 1833 by a group of university students who were dedicated to alleviating the needs of the most vulnerable in society. Over 175 years since the first conference of charity, there still continues to be a need to assist the less fortunate. The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul continues to help, with members in over 140 countries around the world.

As the Society was founded by youth, the role of young people in the Society continues to grow and develop. In Ontario, the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul has youth conferences in London, Mississauga, Kitchener-Waterloo and Windsor. We are always looking for energetic youth between the ages of 13 - 30 who want to make a difference in lives of people in their communities, either in existing or new youth conferences.

The benefits of joining one of our existing youth conferences or trying to start your own are tremendous. Whether you are looking to make some new friends, help a neighbour who is in need, or have an idea for a project to improve the lives of those in your area, the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul is looking for youth with a passion for the service of others.
