A promotional fundraising evening was held in St Justin's Parish Hall on Saturday, Sept 8, sponsored by our St Justin's St Vincent de Paul Conference to raise funds for our Children's Breakfast Program and the Christmas Hamper Program. The event raised more than $3000. for our Conference programs and was deemed a success...

Some 200 guests were entertained by the 'Fitzgeralds', with vocalist Emily Flack and Nate Douglas on guitar performed a routine of song, fiddle and dance to the delight of all who attended. The group was made up of six exceptionally talented young people all in university and with some studying both music and religion. The rapport among the six performers was very evident in their expressions towards one another of their musical appreciation.



Members of St Justin's Knights of Columbus administered the bar and various confectionary items including pizza were sold at nominal prices. A 50/50 was held and the winner selflessly donated her prize of $255 back to our Conference.



Many thanks go out to the parishioners and guests who supported the event; to the Knights and our own Vincentians, especially our President, John Gruggen who volunteered their time and talents to making the fundraiser a success.
