St. Theresa of Calcutta 2017 Christmas Baking Project

The St. Theresa of Calcutta (STOC) youth group’s first official project was Christmas baking for two group homes in Bowmanville. Headed by president Renée, the girls decided what they would be making, shopped and prepared all of the baked goods, mostly from scratch. The group made dozens of sugar cookies, rice crispy treats, cupcakes, peanut butter balls and gluten-free/diabetic friendly brownies.

The group baked after school on December 21st and delivered the on December 22nd. They visited The Gust Home and Home Away From Home. They brought Christmas Carol books and had a sing-along with the residents.

The group had an extremely successful 1st project and wishes to make this a yearly tradition.
