Catch-Up Payments(posted: October 27, 2022)Catch Up PaymentsIf you are a parent or gardian to a student from kindergarten to grade 12, or a secondary school student who is 18 years of age, you may apply for direct Catch Up Payments to get $200 to $250 to help pay for student learning supports to help fill gaps that may have emerged because of COVID‑19. As a parent or guardian, you can use this one-time funding for things that best suit your child’s needs like tutoring services, supplies and equipment.These Catch Up Payments are available to parents to help their child get back on track during the 2022–23 school year. You can get financial support to help with the costs of your child’s tutoring, supplies or equipment during the 2022–23 school year. Eligible applicants will receive a one-time payment of:
